Deacons

The mission of the New Spirit Baptist Church Deacon Ministry is to serve the spiritual and temporal needs of the congregation through various duties. Under the direction of the pastor, these duties include assisting with baptism and communion, attending to the needs of the bereaved, visiting the sick and shut-in, counseling and teaching members, both formally and by example, and other duties as requested by the pastor or as needed by the congregation.
